Louwrence VD Westhuizen – Live @ De Werf

Louwrence van der Westhuizen discovering his passion for music at age 7 when he first picked up a guitar. Though he later expanded into keyboards, the guitar and lead vocals remain his core focus.

Throughout his career, Louwrence has fronted and performed with notable groups, including:

• Ladds: A key band in his early journey, where he spent seven years performing as lead singer and guitarist.

• Nightshift: Formed a 15-year musical partnership with bass guitarist Riaan Truter, spending eight years together in this project following their time in Ladds.

• Cannon: Joined this rock group in 1996 and 1997, showcasing his versatility.

• Slip-Jam: Formed in August 2011 alongside lead guitarist Andy D’Alton, delivering dynamic acoustic/rock performances.

• Slip-Jam the Band: A 6-piece setup leading fuller, immersive live shows.
